Hi all, if you've automatically been assigned paper certificate does that mean it would be an in person oath or could it be online too?
also I have no idea what they are doing, everything is complete on my file except oath, no date, its not even in progress lollll nothing crickets! waiting for the 16 month mark now to reach out to the MP.
Paper certificates can be mailed out even when it's a virtual oath. So it could be virtual or in-person.
If everything is completed, call and ask the agent when you can expect an oath date, also send an email to your processing office.
My fellow October 2022 applicants, thanks for your continues support. If you're still waiting, you'll definitely get your case processed soon, the trend is positive.

I got an email to get my fingerprints done which I did at the closed police station. I've received a letter from the RCMP.
Do I open the letter or should I send it sealed to the requested IRCC address?
My friend is already outside Canada and the tone of the reply of the email from IRCC asking for reschedule is not good.
So I was surprised seeing you rescheduled twice.
I assume you are at the age bracket for which citizenship test is a must. If so, given that you will be close to the published processing time (16 months now) in a month or two, it wouldn’t be a bad idea at all to reach out to them (call or web form) and ask for an update on test invite. More than a year without a test invite doesn’t seem common.
