Question for those who applied online:

Are you getting AORs since your applications are received immediately?

For paper applications, I assume it will take approximately 2 month at least!

I interpret Application Received as when your physical application arrives at the immigration office, OR the day you get an email confirmation for submitting your application.

Back when I applied for PR, I had Sent Date and then Received Date, with my received date being the same day that Canada Post Tracking indicated it'd arrived to the office.

Now, thanks to online applications, the Sent and Received dates are (likely) the same date with no delay.

I could be completely wrong about all of it, but that's how I interpreted it when writing my summary! I figured I'd add AOR in roughly 3 months from now, whenever that may be.

No, AOR is 2-3 months for online also

Hi; regardless of whether you apply (via 'Paper' or 'Online') it takes on average 2-3 months to receive the AOR as a 'Visa Officer' has to check the submitted application for 'Completeness' and 'Accuracy'.
