How they respond appears to be so inconsistent.
Since April the last status for us was "You passed the medical exam." and then silence.
Now a letter arrives offering pre-arrival services.
No "moved to visa office", no AOR2, just silence since April.
Mind you we're not terribly bothered as my own expectation was that it would take at least 12 months and that we would not be getting the final decision before October 2022. But if you are concerned that you haven't heard from them in a while.... you're not the only one.
Thank you for sharing the timelines. I also got the PRR on 20 August, 2021 and submitted the passport on 22 August, 2021 in Dubai Office. Do you have any idea how long will it take to get the CoPR and passport back.

I had a similar experience of inconsistent responding. We don't have your medicals --> yes we do --> no we don't ---> yes we do, and you passed.
So, take any web form response with a grain of salt.
anyone else experience something like this? I received an email with a request letter attached from sydney VO yesterday requesting for a police clearance certificate from the USA after I already submitted police certificate from my current country of residence, but the problem is I have never been inside the USA since both my attempts of b-2 tourist visa was refused. Only been transitted to the US with my C-1 transit Visa for connecting flights from home country to Canada and vice versa. Does anyone knows if this was a miscommunication on the VO side? since i have never been inside the country why would i need a police clearance certificate from the USA?
Just got my PPR email today 4 days after my pre-arrival! What also is interesting, is ECAS still stays “in process” instead of “decision made”. I was one of the folks whose applications was sent from NYVO to Manila. I never got AOR2. Only found out that it was in NYVO initially was via a webform request, and through an address change request that it had been changed to Manila.
