Hi Everyone,
I am an FSW Outland applicant with AOR of October 2020 (COR-India, VO is Ottawa), my application has been in the same status for several months now.
Up until Friday last week my medicals were appearing as - Medicals passed on November 23, 2020. And the generic message of - "We are processing your application..."
My medicals were valid till 18th September 2020 as per my last GCMS notes.

This morning when I logged in to my CIC account, the status of my application had changed from "Submitted" to "Application/Profile Updated". Upon checking the application I found that the medicals passed date is removed and the status for Medicals has gone back to the original as - "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes"

Any idea if this is an automated update because my medicals expired last week, or a sign that my file may have been reviewed by an agent? Did any of you have similar update?

Same changes happened in my profile also the day my medicals expired. i.e even if medicals were passed, 1 year from the date of medicals, that message change happened.

This is most likely incorrect. One may only find out the actual status by ordering notes...

You are right, this is just an automated update of expired medicals.

Exactly one year from the date you had your medicals done. For example, if you had done medicals on 10 sep 2020, it would’ve expired in 10 September 2021. It does not have any connection with your Aor or the medicals passed update on your profile.

Your medical expired, now your last medical report send to medical board for re-consideration, if expert find ok they will be extended your medical for next 6 months or may be one year otherwise you will get a re-medical request letter soon.

So i just visited the TR to PR canadavisa forum. Looks like after aor, it is hardly taking 1.5 months for them to get portal email amd already so many of them are getting PR.
i am frustrated cause i could apply in that stream but i didn’t. My reason was that my eligibility had already passed on FSW inland application so i thought maybe i shouldn’t take someone else’s chance. But guess what do i get in return ? Endless wait. Excruciating pain!

Exactly. And for those who submitted two applications at the same time, got their PR too. I asked one of the consultants and she said it is not ethical to submit two applications at the same time and IRCC would not like that too. Apparently, IRCC is ok with it and I just spent one year with sleepless nights.
