I have been silently following this forum which I found extremely helpful throughout this challenging time but I have to post now and share some positivity.

Last week I got a GU changing the additional documents from “we are still reviewing” to “NA”. Yesterday I received the PR confirmation portal email. I replied to the email with the information they needed and now received another email with a link to update my address and upload photos!
The status of my application on the CIC website still hasn’t changed though.

Medical passed : 19 Nov 2020
Biometrics exempted
Criminality changed to in progress on 19 Nov 2020
Eligibility : Recommend passed on 7th March 2021
Eligibility passed, Criminality passed, and info sharing complete on 30th April 2021
Security check complete not sure when
Call from IRCC on May 10 2021, questions about current location for all the people on the application.
File approved 10th May 2021, Copr documents with photos required to be sent by mail for PR card.

I was legit crying from happiness an hour ago when I received a letter from Niagara IRCC "We are pleased to inform you that you are now a permanent resident of Canada."! Everybody on this forum helped me to deal with the whole waiting anxiety over the last 7 months. I wish everybody the best of luck and to be as happy about your own progress as I am right now about mine!
