Got a 30 day extension email for gcms notes today from CBSA. Applied through getgcms about about a month back. The email dis mention though that extension is usually sought when security screening is in progress.
Alright Experts, @legalfalcon
I've decided to take some time off from my present not so happy situation in delhi (concerning health & wealth) and visit my dad in Los Angeles for a few months. Meanwhile, my CBSA notes are due within a week or so, but I presume my EE file haven't even been touched or passed any of the so called critical stages.
My question is do I need to disclose this move to IRCC, if so then how? Also, will they ever bother/ask me again for a US PCC on my return (I stayed previously in US for 5 years until 2020 and had already provided FBI clearance during my FSW application.)
Kindly advise in accordance to the situation,

do you know if when they extend it, they also delay the compilation of the notes, or you will get a file in 30 days with the notes of your application of 60 days ago...?

@legalfalcon
I am on LMIA EE,
After getting AOR in oct 2020, company changed its name in December last year, rolls and responsibilities and address, owners all are same just they changed their name,
My immigration consultant said they informed service Canada (LMIA) about the company name changes and that’s enough.
Is it enough or do we have to tell CIC this thing too? Because my agents are saying no need to worry we have already informed Service Canada, they approved your LMIA.
Please tell me is it fine or what to do more?

After how many days did you get the extension notice? Was it more than 30 days?
I applied for notes getgcms.com as well about 35 days ago and yet to get the notice. I'd like to know so that if I am going to get a 30 days extension notice anyway, I might as well order a new set of notes.
I have one question related to GCMS notes.
No that I got 30 days extension. Can I get my notes early than that or they will be close to new deadline? I know this may happen but what is the generic trend.

Only off you are changing your country of residence, i.e. you move to another country for the foreseeable future you have to inform IRCC of the change of address. If you re going only for a short while, for a vacation, then there is no need to inform.
To change your address or COR, you can do so by sending a webform.

The extension merely means that the agency was unable to meet the 30 days time line and needs additional time up to what is citied in the notice. The information can be released anytime before that too.

@legalfalcon The RCMP for inland applicants is not always requested, right?
In my case, I am CEC with AOR 4th October 2020, and I never got any request for RCMP or additional document (Schedule A, etc). My medicals are passed, and I am bio exempt.
What is the reason it triggers request for RCMP for inlands, and for some inlands they do not request?
IRCC can request PCC from any applicant. For inland, they are not required to submit a RCMP PCC along with the application, but may be asked fo one later in the processing.
Police certificates are required upfront and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has spent 6 months or more in a row within the last 10 years. The individual does not need to provide one for any period of time before the age of 18.
For inland applications, most are asked for RCMP PCC later in the processing.
Eligibility: Passed (Not sure if its recommended pass or pass as agent just said pass)
Medical: Passed
Criminality: Passed
Info Sharing: In progress
Security: Not started
What do agent mean if they say eligibility passed? is it conclusive or recommended? anyone?
