My AOR is 14th October 2020 and I am stuck at IP1 for ages, what could be the reason? Eligibility still pending or something else?
Last time I called the IRCC agent said eligibility passed, but my background check is still in progress. I then raised webform but no luck (got generic reply).
As per Immigration tracker 51 people get PPR February 1, 2021. Only two candidates has eAOR of October 2020 (One PNP and One is CEC). Mostly people belong to June, July and August 2020 eAOR's. Interesting this is that none from November 2020 eAOR candidate get a PPR but a single December 2020 candidate get a PPR.
I would check the rules for healthcare for where you're planning to move if you haven't already.
From my research, BC (where we're going) don't grant free healthcare unless you've been there 3 months already - otherwise it can cost thousands of dollars to give birth, especially if extra help is needed like a C section (I've read up to $30,000 if you have a C Section and the baby needs extra help!).
Apparently it's different in other provinces - in some you are granted free healthcare immediately.
We're going to take a chance, and if we can't fit free Canadian healthcare around when I'm due to give birth then we'll stay in the UK until the baby is born because we get free healthcare here, then move to Canada after.
Sorry you're in this position too - it's such a difficult decision to make!
I have a question. Suppose both the primary and secondary applicant has got COPR’s. And the secondary appliant gets the AL as he had a sibling and covered under extended relatives.
My question is can the secondary applicant with the COPR and AL travel alone without the primary applicant ? Or the secondary applicant can’t land in Canada without the Primary one ??

This will not be a problem at all. Usually for most the UCI number remains the same, but in some case, IRCC can allocate a different UCI number and the previous one will be purged
Hi, CEC inland here. My med and bio passed early December last year.
I called IRCC and confirmed that
Eligibility: Review required
Security: Not started
Criminality: In progress
Not sure what eligibility review means, but I guess it's only going to add up to processing time.
@legalfalcon - I got an ADR today to include the following in employment letter
=========================
Client Enquiry: Please provide new letter of employment for at least one year after permanent resident status for XXX This must be received at this office by: 2021/02/24

My organization agreed to provide the below
At this time, XXX Organization intends to continue his full-time employment for at least one year after permanent residency status has been received; subject to business and project requirements.

As this is with the subject to clause, will this be accepted by IRCC?
