This has all been the same since my AOR, except for the medical results. What does that mean?
Hi All. I need a bit of help please. First, I submitted my EE application yesterday. Status shows as SUBMITTED. In how much time does it usually change to AoR? Is it a few days or weeks or how? Secondly, at what stage should I apply for GCMS notes and what is the economical and faster source/way of doing so? Thanks in advance for your response.
I received AOR Oct 12th. Today i received the BIL, asking me to go take the letter and provide biometrics. My medical still don’t show as passed but the progress bar is there. Also I don’t know where to go in Ontario to provide biometrics.
do I wait for a call from an IRCC agent to provide biometrics?
Hello, what is BIL here? Also, can you please advise if there was some time gap between your application submission and status change from Submitted to AOR?
Also, I don't see any ADR in the documents section or any other messages, but on the home page the application status says "your action is required". Is this normal? Can someone who got Medicals Passed in the last few days confirm?

Hello Abhi, for the first question, I think I got the AOR e-mail like immedicately after I submitted the application. For the second question, I ordered it right after MEP and I am gonna do it on a monthly basis from now onwards, and it is free (as long as you live in Canada and order it for yourself, not for others). I order it thourgh https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...rmation-privacy/requests-information-act.html

Thankyou for your response. I submitted my application yesterday and it shows as submitted so far. so was thinking when does it change to AoR status. Also, I am not living in Canada. So I might have to go for some vendor to get this help. How will I get to know MEP status? is that something that will show up in my account or will I get some sort of email for MEP confirmation?

Your status would show submitted for now and you should get the AOR message in your account immediately after submission.
The MEP/BIL (Medical Exam Passed/Biometrics Instruction Letter) would come about 30-40 days after the date on your AOR. You will get an email notification for when your account has been updated with MEP/BIL.

It is actually a little bit weird that you did not receive the AOR e-mail right after you submitted the application. I don't know more about it. Sorry. Maybe you can submit a webform inquiry or just call the immigration center to see what is going on?
For the MEP, yes, just wait and you will get notification by e-mail once it is updated. Or, you can just check your status from time to time. The change will also show up in your account, so you won't miss it.

Thankyou so much. Yes I received the AoR in email. It was a little late for some reason. But the AoR date matches the date of submission. Looks good. Appreciate your help.
