well
I have 2 work experiences in 4011 (2 years 7 months; primary occupation)
and 4012 (3 years 6 months; earned with my PhD in process NOT from Canada)
i wanted to ask does at any point in work experience does CIC asked that was it done with full time education in the same duration?
Secondly wanted to ask
what does documents set for review: Client information means
I'm also a PhD from outside Canada, and during my preparations for the express entry process I surfed a lot of resources and concluded the following:
1) One of many requirements of education assessment organizations (WES in particular) is that any education (including a doctorate) has to be full-time.
2) No working experience can be counted if it took place during studies, because:
a) during full-time studentship a student can have only a part-time job;
b) only a full-time job with a minimum of 35 h/w can be counted as appropriate working experience for which this student can earn additional points.
As I understand it right, CIC checks the time periods of all your studies and working positions, and if they notice some intersections which violate the 2 aforementioned points, they flags your application with the "Review Required" label because they don't know what to think: it's an occasional mistake, a possible mispresentation based on misunderstanding of the assessment criterias, or even a fraud stemming from the desire to get more CRS points.
I think you have interpretted it wrongly.
4012 noc is for research/ graduate assistant and its requirement is that one should be a graduate student in the university.
I counted the experience for 30 hrs/wk as i had classes for 9 hrs and was genuinely working 30 to 32 hrs a week on variojs research projects
Hello guys,
Just received the portal confirmation email from IRCC. Both I and my wife (dependent) received the email.
AOR - Oct 18, 2020
All stages passed - June 7, 2021
Do we both need to reply or only primary applicant (I) can reply with all the info?
Canada administered over 500k doses today, including 300k second doses. If the border opening is indeed linked to the vaccine rollout we have much to look forward to.

Air Canada cancelled flights till 31 July 2021. Will this have any negative indirect impact on our files? Is it ok to hope that by 21 st June vaccinated travellers will be able to travel and our file will start processing again

Well depends on the country you are traveling from, I doubt some of the countries with variants and high case counts will be allowed to fly in. Which is good right now until most of the people in Canada are vaccinated. No one wants to go through another lockdown.

A doctorate is Full time, experience in your Masters/PhD as a Research/Teaching Assistant cannot be full time. Research Assistant does NOT require you to be a Full-time student. You can have Research Assistanceship job as Full time without being a student (atleast here in North America).
The problem where is, it overlaps with your full time doctorate, so your RA/TA has to be part-time. I think you might have unintentionally misrepresented. Good luck, maybe get a consultation on next steps from an experienced immigration firm.
I have claimed 3 years of work experience under NOC4012, before I became a PhD candidate- meaning I was still a student- 1.5 years of it, and I have passed eligibility on march 2021. So I think as long as you were a PhD student outside of Canada, your work experience while you were a student counts.

I have seen a couple of ghost updates in last couple of weeks and now online status has changed to "we are processing your background check". AOR 8 OCT, 2020. What stage is this application at?
