I received email for Permanent Residency Online portal access,

but when I saw the attachment, It was not mine, like the information in attachment-doesn’t belongs to me, Name, UCI number and Application number.

could you please tell me what to do?

My last update was everything passed except security not started. I have ordered gcms notes from cbsa more than a month ago which got an extension of 60 more days. Last Monday I got a ghost update and not sure if it was due to gcms or not. I am also afraid to call the call center because I don't want to get disheartened by knowing that the security has not started yet. That's why I did not call yet. Do you think that this ghost update is due to file movement?

This is getting very common with IRCC. Just send a webform and inform IRCC of this, also reply back to the email and let them know.

Info sharing : Completed on December 2020
Eligibility : Recommend passed on April 22, 2021
Eligibility : passed on May 07, 2021
Security : Completed on May 20, 2021.

I made a call based on the Ghost Update I got on May 20th and the agent told me that everything is Completed and waiting for final decision.


Can anyone suggest how long (maximum) it will take to get COPR.

I called IRCC yesterday. Eligibility Conclusively Passed on 03rd May.
Got ghost update in my account- Background check changed from " We are processing your Background check"
To "you application is in progress"
