only review required is not a bad sign per se.

Sometimes from what I see is that they annotate if a letter does not have duties of the offer of employment is not valid, but even if they discount those points, if you still make the cut off, they say recommended pass -review required (meaning you made the cut off but some of the documents might not be valid, and even not valid you are fine cause you have enough points without them etc etc).

in your case no idea, cause it says ready to finalize....


I would raise a webform. But yeah, it doesn't look good looking at the points they counted in your application



it would be stupid to refuse an application, when they made a call for 27k with a cut of of 75.., but its IRCC: do not expect common sense

what does mean ready to finalize? I just sent them all the relevant information and law. Some government just dont bother writing personalized letter as they are public organism and they must follow standardized letters. If They need a co worker to send a letter, then I can still ask....would that work?

to me it sounds ready to make a decision and no need to check anything else or request more documents, whatever the outcome is positive or negative

but again im just another applicant and what I say has 0 value lol

yeah, as fas as you make the cut


BUT ready to finalize and review required does not mean it will be rejected. Just that they got all the info, you paid all your fees, etc. The final decision is by the officer, not the case analyst.

dont worry, you are not the only one. I am in the same boat of despair and frustration.


I prefer to get rejected soon, so I can fix my documents and reapply again now that the CEC scores are so low....

sometimes they just dont click on the option 'passed' and stays like that until the end. Sometimes they do it all passed 5 minutes before issuing CoPR...

security will only start when eligibility is passed, or recommended pass (without review required). No need to start security if your eligibility is not passed.

If I were you, I would raise another webform submitting the letter from the colleague indicating job duties.. I don’t think you should be waiting to see what they mean by ready to finalise. My 2 cents

3-6 weeks.
I sent a webform to inform my marital status changed. They got back within 15 days
I sent support documents to add my spouse, they have'nt got back, it's already 3 weeks.
