Not strange at all, I have the same situation with my application. Last call was a week ago and was told nothing started except security and I was reminded that covid is impacting processing time.

Mine is at the Ottowa office as well.
I was so excited when seeing one guy who got PPR with AOR Oct-19. I called to check if my application is in the same boat.
Lmao when figuring out, it has not started.
