I want to send web form to IRCC to get status of my application as I m waiting almost since seven months after the test was passed.
Please guide me how to get the webform and how to proceed it.
This isn't over yet? They are all 40,000 refugees. Canada takes in 400,000 immigrates a year other than citizenship applications and temp immigration status. I swear they are using it as an excuse to be unreachable and not to give responses to applicants.
Hey everyone,
Ottawa location here. Yesterday I got a call from an agent, she said she's finalizing our application and wanted to let us know in person. It was really sweet of her! Today the ecas status changed to Decision Made. Citizenship tracker is still "In progress", same as before. We wrote our tests back in February. So now we'll be waiting for an oath invitation. The agent said that the oath would probably take place before the end of December, but it wasn't her who does the scheduling, so the date is to be determined. So we're keeping our fingers crossed!
Applicants from everywhere are welcome by the way. I've been waiting for a long time, and it's really difficult. I thought in this channel we could talk about our experience, timeline, and help each other out. If you like the idea please join and share with others that you think might find this helpful. Thank you.

indeed, the situation continues.. and they will most likely keep riding that for months and months to come... and they did indeed mention Afghanistan explicitly in the generic response I got. The part that makes me laugh is related to document submission:
"If you included attachments with your enquiry, rest assured that they will be added to your file shortly"
like...., no, i don't rest assured, that is the whole point and the reason behind my contacting you hehe

Correct. Nothing sweet about these damn cic guys. if they are sweet then they should show it in their action by adjudicating the file within 3 months of test which was completed in Feb by op. Instead they just give a call after 9 months and talk sweet is just seems a poisonous verification (which is not part of eligibility). Seems like some guys at cic still playing their games with the 2015 intent rule indirectly.
Unbelievable 9 months for DM, after the test. damn...
I wouldn't be worried. I missed tons of calls. It's their mistake not to schedule calls. It's the right thing to do if there is something serious. Like job interviews. I have never done one without scheduling. But if they want to probe to see if we are in Canada, for example, then let them come to my address in my file, and I will invite them to a cup of coffee, and chit chat with them about the latest in the world

That's 100% true. There is nothing nice about the call. The nice thing to do is for them to do their job and give old applications their fair share of their time, instead of wasting it on chit chats on random calls
