Indeed it's been a long time for no updates. I am sure you are not alone though. No one knows how they select applicants to progress to the next step. It's as if it's random.

I checked the tracker today. Please update these info:
-Fingerprints received Aug 3rd.
-Background Completed Aug 4th

Prohibitions stills says in progress. Anyone has any idea whats the difference between background and prohibitions and roughly how long will it take to get updated?

Could you please tell how long it took for you to update the Fingerprints update in your tracker? I did my Fingerprints on July 24th at RCMP authorized agency. in Surrey, BC. Still no update in my tracker.

Hey guys, i did my test recently and my application is coming to an end. I was wondering something. I recently got the new passport from my home country since the previous one expired. I was wondering to I have to notify CIC that I have a new passport? On the question list all the passports that you had I listed only one that expired and now I have another one. Should message them or I don't have to?

You don't have to unless you are asked (either for PP pages request or if you are invited to attend an interview).

But I suggest wait until you get the invite to plan. Unless it’s urgent processing, chances are it will take a few months.
