Has anyone on here also had such crazy wait after the online test?
Passed my test on March 4 so exactly 2 months ago and silence since then!
Called them after the first month of wait - was told to wait for ceremony email. Another month of silence followed.
I was hoping to see if anyone is in a similar boat as me? 2 months seems abnormal even in this day and age
The wait for the oath could be up to 3 months before the pandemic. This is what IRCC’s website says. It’s a long wait, but normal. If you called them and they told you to wait for the oath invite, I believe it means everything is ok (except for their speed).
If you are in Mississauga office then this is normal. We have many people my wife included passed the test in January and February and DM in February /March , all still waiting for oath. You are not alone
Hi all, I just checked on ECAS and saw this: "5. We sent you a letter on May 3, 2021. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."
IRCC has received my fingerprints result in April. The call centre informed me that my application was still in process this Monday. What would this be? Does anyone have any ideas? I thought that everything would be electronic these days... thanks
It's usually the IRCC office that is closest to your address. You will eventually find out when they email you to request for additional documentation. The email address will contain the IRCC office that is handling your application. Another way to find out is to send them an inquiry using the web form.
