It will. I don’t know if you saw my last post, but it’s in CIC’s Facebook page that all ceremonies and tests and suspended indefinitely.

Hi Can you share about your oath scheduled for today? I am eager to know as my oath is scheduled for 31st March, 2020 and Coronavirus is also effective.

Hello! My Oath took place yesterday at 235 Queen Street - in the same room they facilitate the exams.
There were 96 people who were sworn in and their family and friends as guests in the room. The ceremony was mainly taking the Oath and the handing out of certificates by the Official - however there was no hand shaking allowed... hope that helps!

My Oath ceremony yesterday in Ottawa at 235 Queen Street, seemed to be the last one as they are halting tests and ceremonies until further notice due to COVID as their Facebook page says

No clear information provided. Technically if the government pushing people to work from home, I don't see how officers can process application while they are at home while having access to applicants data. So I would assume yes, process will be held for now

I don’t think engaged is a status. But married is. Call them and ask. I need a new passport and thought I’d have to update them with my new document. So I called them, and it ends up that they don’t need my new passport information. I o my have to bring it on my test date.
