A quick update on our situation as of today. We received the test/interview date of March 10th on February 20th. The letter said that if you could make this date then email them back and let them know or to call. Seeing that we are out of the country till the end of March I sent an email asking for a reschedule for April. After hearing nothing for a few days I emailed again. Actually emailed 4 times in total with no response. I also sent a web form request as suggested by someone on this post. I did receive a response saying that they had received the request and would forward it onto the appropriate person or department. Then nothing again. As of today the 10th has come and gone and we are still out of the country. I feel comfortable that everything will be ok. Unfortunately I am unable to call them until we return. I will keep you posted on how things go.
Guys, I've been a long time lurker on these forums. I was wondering what I should do if Canada Post might have potentially lost my fingerprint request. I've scanned all the documents before I sent it as my fingerprints from RCMP got sent to my local police station since I had it taken there, so I had to send it myself using Xpresspost and with signature required.
UPDATE: I have called the IRCC and they have received my fingerprints electronically - I scanned my fingerprint letter from the RCMP and submitted it through the webform and apparently it was received March 7th and they told me my background checks are completed. I did my fingerprints at a local police station and for some weird reason the RCMP didn't send it directly to the Vancouver office but sent it back to my local police station and I had to be the one who mailed it.
I guess all I have to do is wait for my test invite? Thanks everyone!

I called IRCC . They were not at all helpful. I told the person that i wanted confirmation if they revived my finger scan results. He simply repeated that now results are electronic and i dint need to do any thing else. When i asked about time line. He simply said if you submitted in October. They have time till 2020 Oct. And will respond before that. He didn't even ask my application number :S
Still waiting for my test invite. I have a quick question: I have relocated to another city, should I update IRCC with my new address? Is this going to delay the process even longer? And is my current visa office going to send my application to another visa office closer to my location as a result of this update? (PS: I still have access to old mail address)

Hi All, I have a question, If the AOR was sent by email, will the test invite or FP will be sent by email as well or it can by post. As I haven't got any update on my file since Jan 6 when AOR was sent

Mostly it would be the same medium as the AOR.
But I have seen exceptions to the rule based on posts in this forum.
Having reached the DM stage myself and awaiting the oath, I would suggest stay calm and positive. IP will be around the corner for you.
All the best.
Just to share with you, I did my test today at Scarborough and they invited me for the Oath Ceremony tomorrow. I noticed, like other people from the October group, everyone is getting an Oath-invitation for the next day. This is a very good sign for the people who have been waiting for the test.
Good luck to you.
