Hi I got an invitation to the test and it will be on March 11. I am studying and all.
Today I received a letter with a fingerprint request. Is this normal?
Thanks

This is the first time I am hearing it, however it could be just the timing. My understanding is : Various processes run at the same time, including tests. It would perhaps been like, a testing process completed earlier than the criminal background check. Just do finger prints today so by the time you go for citizenship test, the fingerprint results would almost be on their way to the IRCC office.

Congrats!! That was quick! Did you travel outside Canada during your eligibility period? I just want to understand whether travel outside can slow the application process.

I will do that! It's probably what @adey786said, processes run at the same time.
Finished test and interview yesterday. I'd like to talk about the interview for you guys who are waiting for the test and interview.
My location is in Moose Jaw, SK near Regina but my test location was in Saskatoon.
Test was easy but some tricky questions. I recommend you to read the Discover Canada more than 3 times.
My interviewer checked my ID and original support documents especially entry and exit stamps in my passport.
Some countries that I visited don't have the stamps so I printed out all the flight Itineraries.
The interviewer took my copies and it took only 5mins because of that.
She mentioned that my ceremony location will be in Regina and expected in May.
My journey is almost done. Hope you guys too soon. Cheers!
Just did my test and interview today at the Scarborough office. Passed 20/20 and was asked to do my oath tomorrow. Hang in there guys. We’ll all be done soon!
