Hi,
I chose the FP to be sent directly, too. You can contact RCMP after a few days and ask about the status. The agency where you had the FP taken gave you a report, right? There is an email there and a DCN # to contact RCMP.
Agency told me to follow up with CIC if they got mail from RCMP or not post 20 March, if i see no update.
I do have DCN number. But don't have RCMP mail; Also not sure if they will entertain it.

RCMP email is ccrtis-scictr@rcmp-grc.gc.ca. They strongly recommend to wait for atleast 2 weeks to let document arrive at CPC before contacting RCMP about status.

Thanks;
In a way i am happy it got delayed a bit. I am going on vacation for 3 weeks next week. Last thing i wanted was test to conflict with vacation.
Does anybody has an idea, why did CIC send the fingerprint request? is it going to take longer than the normal process or should I consider it one step closer to get test request? thanks in advance.
