Ok, thanks. That was pretty quick as the regular mail takes around 3 - 4 business days and considering that it was thanksgiving week end, I was expecting it to reach them around 15 - 16 October.
I haven't received the AOR yet so don't know the received date at the moment. I also sent my son's application later to be added with my application that was delivered on Dec 2. So, not sure if my application will be delayed or what ?
My hubby originally sent his application in on Sept 6 but it was returned since they don't accept the IELTSAcademic as proof of English proficiency. He resent it with a diploma from a Canadian college on Oct 10, and received an AOR today Jan 6, 2020.
We couldn't find his file online, so we sent in an address update via the webform. Not sure when/whether he will hear back when the address has been updated.
Checked on the online system, my application does not appear in the search there, will check. As per courier date of delivery was 8th October, not sure what the actual date of delivery that they must have counted.
Anyway I am relieved that it didn’t get sent back. Now lets see how long the next step takes. Good Luck to the rest.

It's the waiting game again.. lol it's a bit frustrating especially seeing others whose applications were received later than ours receiving their AOR already.. that's life.. we just have to wait patiently..

I called CIC command center the agent I spoke to she mentioned that they are now processing the applications those were received on Oct 08, 2019. But here we are seeing there are also applicants from Oct 10 and after got AOR I guess it is what it is have to just wait

Lots and long patience for waiting is the only key.. and always checking the mailbox.. until i received my AOR that's the only time i will skip a day or 2 to go and check the mailbox esp. Winter here in Edmonton is getting worse..
