I have a question. I was originally in Singapore when I received my AOR (mailing address in Singapore) in October. I am currently in Canada as a visitor and would be extending my stay here. I have updated my mailing address as the Canadian address. Will my process time change? From FSW Outland to FSW Inland? Or will there be no change? I've received approval for medical and did my Biometrics.

Made a web enquiry on Thursday (Dec 19, 2019) and received the following response.

• The security background verification has not been initiated.
• The criminal background verification is in process.
• Your application is currently being processed at the Case Processing Centre (CPC-E) in Edmonton, Alberta

Good and steady progress. All the best, hopefully you will har in the next 3 months with PPR.

I have heard that once IRCC request for RPRF, you can assume that background check is all through but there is no concrete evidence on the same. I am expecting to hear more in Jan'20.

As per my observation the request is sent when preliminary checks are completed and it is safe to assume that subject to nothing extraordinary will come-up you will get RFV e-mail.
