Call IRCC tomorrow, and ask for status of eligibility, criminality and security. If all passed you will get PPR soon

My AOR date is October 10th 2019, and i contacted cic yesterday regarding application status. and received the following resoponse.


VO is Edmonton,

In addition, we verified the information on file and can confirm that:

• The eligibility assessment has not been initiated.
• The security background verification has not been initiated.
• The criminal background verification has not been initiated.

Is this status looks very bad? anyone in the same situation? do i stand a chance to receive PR on April?

Did you pass MEP? I believe your criminality is in progress. Agent gave you wrong info. Criminality is initiated the same say of MEP

Did you pass MEP? I believe your criminality is in progress. Agent gave you wrong info. Criminality is initiated the same say of MEP

Yes I passed mep around November 15th 2019

I'm the exact same. CEC inland. Edmonton. AOR October 15th.

Received my notes as of Jan 7 and it basically looked like once my file moved to Edmonton, they haven't been touched by an officer yet. The notes say my police reports were approved and criminality was a recommended pass.
It sounds like we're in just in a batch of applications waiting to be looked at.

Glad I'm not alone! Hopefully won't be too long. My work permit expires May 1st and my estimated completion date is April 15th... Don't want to have to apply & pay for the BOWP if I don't have to.

I called IRCC yesterday and got this information from the agent:

Eligibility not initiated
Criminality not initiated
Background in progress

October 8th AOR getting their PPR email so on that bases I hope so we will get our PPR email most probably in the last week of February.

Not sure what the ghost update was for.

Sometimes they dont give proper information. I was told they dont need any additional information from you. Your application will be processed 9th April :S
