Do the "background verifications" refer to the police certificates only? Or these checks include everything like work, studies, police certificates etc.
But still, the waiting continues nevertheless. I wonder what happens if 3 more months pass, medicals expire etc. Are they going to have the guts to request new medicals? I hope not.
After getting tired of how many messages I've sent to IRCC, I finally received a reply that can mean something:

We all have paid our fees to the government and made life plans already based on a deadline they provided sooo I think they should be thinling about us right now. They cant stop our processes indefenitely when other countries are opening. Lets wait until July 1 and see what happens
Hi, my AOR was December 2019, and application is at 100%. When I contacted IRCC, they replied that my biometrics, police verification and background check are valid. Does that mean they are approved? Not exactly sure what Valid means here.
My application was made from India under FSW. Are there others here with similar timeline and have any updates on their application? Thanks for sharing!
Mines are valid too according to a web form I sent. Yesterday I received my Gcms notes and they said my case is "ready to finalize" so I think valid means you passed the tests and are now waiting for the final approval.
Hi guys, I got an email from IRCC saying I am a permanent resident of Canada now and I need to send my COPR letter and a photo to Etobicoke Office in Toronto. Do I need to date and sign the COPR letter and include a prepaid envelope in the mail? Thanks!

Hello everyone, I have called IRCC and the agent told me that my PR application is approved yesterday (17 June 2020) morning. I have to wait for the COPR email. I would like to know if anyone knows how long it takes to get the email once your application is approved. Thank you
