How much webform is too much? My second was 2weeks ago. The first was 30 days apart. I can't call so this is my only means of knowing the progress in my application.

I just received the email - "Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa"

I had not seen any updates till day directly got the PPR email. My office was Ottawa.

Medicals- 4th Nov (passed)
Biometrics- 11th Nov (completed)

I don’t have enough information regarding BG, Eligibility, Criminality & Security as my application was filed by an agent. Last time when I got the above info was in January 2020 and then everything was in progress.

Did any of the US applicant get the PPR?

Ghost update - March 4
Ready for visa - March 4


It was dead silence since bio metrics update until today. Few hours after ghost update received the ready for visa email

I have travelled a lot, not to Asia though, South America and Europe. AOR October 12th and I just got my first GU today. I think it does make the security check last a bit longer but in the end we'll get it too.

My timeline was
CEC -inland
VO -Edmonton
AOR - october 12th , 2019
MEP - Nov 7, 2019
ADR -Nov 7 ,2019 (RCMP)
ADR submitted - Nov 12 , 2019
After that no movement for a long time . Recieved a ghost update mid February .
i called CIC twice , once in january and 2nd after ghost update . On my timeline (80% completed ), it still shows only medical exam passed .
Got a mail around 7.45pm .best of luck to everyone waiting for their PPR . This forum has been very helpful to me .

Thanks for sharing, I'm on almost exact situation (except my AOR is Octorber 26). That's comforting to know that, even though there's no update on status page something is happening!

Congrats!!. Your application was approved on 2nd March and received the PPR email today right?. what time did you get the email?

My eligibilty is still in progress as of 28th Feb 2020, no ghost updates , no ADR received.

I see lot of october AORs gettign PPR, hence getting anxious about my file.

Congratulations! May I ask what is your temporary permit application? Is it work permit/ visitor?

work permit. My BRIDGING OPEN WORK PERMIT got declined reason was AOR did not get uploaded when my immigration consultant applied on my behalf.
That is why i reapplied for Work permit.

Hi, don’t worry. Many people have similar case with you.
Oct 17, FSW-Outland. No ghost update and no adr after medical&biometrics are completed.
It seems ircc is focusing on the earlier applications. Let’s wait and see, and hope for the best

Could you please shed some light here, my AOR is Oct 28 and I'm waiting for my PPR. Meanwhile my employer is planning to request a short-term work permit for me in Belgium. Can I hold a Canada Visa and Work Permit from another country in my passport at the same time(Considering that I would get my PPR before work permit)?
