I'm sorry to hear that. Could you share the details of the refusal letter? Did you finish Medical approval and Biometrics already?

Yes biometrics and medical were passed it was an issue with ECA. We had applied and successfully appealed my husbands plumbing qualifications but hadn’t for his education and apparently it’s not the same despite the fact WES or ICAS don’t deal with trade NVQ’s. When I contacted IRCC for advice over the summer they didn’t even know the answer! How is average Joe supposed to know....

According to you how long can it take for the status to show- "we are processing your background check" from here? I know this really isn't fixed but what is your call in this if you can give some idea? thanks

This status will change 2 times, but then will continue to be like this until your application is approved.

Medical Passed: Nov 1st
Biometric updated on same day: Nov 7th
Since then no updates. I ordered GCMS notes on Nov 18th. My status was "Your Action Required" on Saturday 23rd the status changed to "Submitted" but no updates/changes on the profile. Anyone has any idea what could be the reason why the status changed to Submitted? Anyone with same situation/experience? Any response much appreciated.
