Hi
@legalfalcon,
I am an FSW Outland applicant, my application is still in progress (status as per GCMS notes in signature) just like most Outland applicants. I want to know how moving to another country for work will impact my current application?
I am based in India and I am currently interviewing for a job outside my home country, but even before this progresses I would like to know if moving to another country on a work visa will impact my application in any way?
Will it be sufficient to inform IRCC regarding change in my personal situation and move to another country, and will this in anyway delay my application further?
Please share your thoughts on this.
Thanks in advance.

Moving to another country has no impact on the processing a such. After you move, you will have to inform IRCC of the change of country of residence and address. The only thing that will change is your primary office, where you will be asked to submit your passport for PR visa (if you re not from a visa exempt country) and COPR when a final decision on your application has been made.
Hi
@legalfalcon
I am planning to visit US for about 45 days in June. If get ppr while I am in US, would it be possible to submit my passport there? Do you have information regarding such a situation?
To submit your passport in the US, you will have to request IRCC to change your VO to US. You can do it, but it may take time. So if you intend to be in the Us for a long time, you can inform IRCC of the change of country of residence as soon as you land in the US.

Thank you for the quick response
@legalfalcon, this helps.
@legalfalcon I have got my COPR and it is valid till 4th Jan 2022. Currently as COPR holders are not allowed to travel and more over flights are also banned between India and Canada, Can you please tell me if suppose I get an employment offer from Canada now, can I apply for travel authorization letter in this case? Since I won't be on work permit, Can IRCC exempt me from traveling if I have a valid job offer on COPR?

An employment or offer letter by itself won't work, you will need a Work permit, even if you have a COPR.

That’s great! It was same for me. Was there any update in your profile? Do you know about your VO?

My application is at CIO-Sydney, NS. There has been nothing new with my profile since last October!
Hi guys, quick question, I got my COPR on March 19th, one day after the closure date. Now in my country of residence I was offered to get Citizenship. If I accept it, does it affect my COPR status? I am a permanent resident here so not sure if its ok or would hurt my COPR. Please anyone that knows help me with some advice. Thanks!
Did anyone inland is still waiting here? am i the only one left?

So sorry to hear that. Do you know what’s taking you so long to get COPR given that you are inland?

I guess it is bureaucracy and total negligence. Nothing else i could think of, as soon as everything is passed since July 2020.
