My file is also in Sydney NS. GCMS which I received in April showed that Medicals, Eligibility, and Criminality has been passed since last November. No updates from CIC since Medicals passed email.

I have been calling every 3 weeks and they keep saying everything looks good but background checks still being processed.

Now I am sure that there is something wrong with Sydney, NS. There are so many cases pending over there. I am going to tag IRCC on twitter today and raise it. Not sure if this will be of any help but I want to do something everyday else my patience will run out :=)

Hello people!!
So i just received an ADR for Additional Family Information IMM 5406: .
I don't really understand why did they ask for this? I'm a single applicant and have no family in Canada, can anybody plz shed light on what is this about?? What do i do? Also they've given me 7 days time for uploading.

Family information is a very generic form. Many people are asked to fill it before PPR. If I am not wrong, this is even required for work permit whether they are accompanying or not. Don't worry you got a step nearer to it!

Same here. We have basically the same status.
The agent said they sent a reminder to the case officer on April 30 so hopefully we get some updates by month end.

I have this feeling, deep in my chest, that this month is the month for us October people.
We're all in the endgame now, our wait will soon be over.

Better to upload them now itself using web-form.

Thanks.. Already done.. But on CIC website it's written to submit biographical pages and purpose is to check identity only.. Still not taking risk.. Sent the documents through webform..
