Good news for inland people, if you are calling from Canada, there is no need to hold the call to talk agent, once you are in queue, press 1 and enter your canadian cell no. they will call you back within 30 to 45 min.
I never called cic
My file is through my agent so I am just waiting
Some pnp inlanders got there ppr after two months, really frustrating how they process applications
We already have work permits n we applied within Canada so don’t know why they keep our files stuck in background checks
They start my Criminality in November and still in progress...
Eligibility start in March or April and passed on 15th April.
Security didn't start till now
Have just spoken to the agent, he told that the case is waiting for the final background verification. Asked him a question: does it mean that the background check is in progress? And he answered that yes exactly and that we should be patient, soon we will probably have an update. Not bad news I think, because in the GCMS notes which we got in the end of April there are no updates since December, Security and Criminality wasn't started yet. But there are no changes and still IP1 in the profile. So will see. AOR Oct 23
Yup, wrote about it couple of days back. Eligibility and criminality have been passed, security is in progress - that's what the agent told me
I think it's just fine, but the magic word "security" makes me feel extremely nervous.
Just FYI...
If anyone planning to order CSIS notes, plz provide sufficient information concerning the type of personal information you are requesting otherwise your request has been put on hold.
Bank number is very important.
For eg. CSIS PPU 045, CSIS PPU 015 etc.
Do you guys know what does it mean when the eligibility requires a review? I talked with a very nice agent, and he said that the eligibility requires a review but I have no idea what does it mean.
Anyone here who got PPR or still waiting with NOC 1241? Do they issue PPRs based on NOCs? Does anyone know if CIC waits until there is a requirement for a certain NOC to issue PPRs?
