Exactly. The agent won't even tell if there's really a RR or why an RR.

well the last two times i called both the agents kept me on hold and looked into my file...on 26th april the agent looked and said that additional review is required and she sent a reminder to the case officer....and yesterday i called, this agent said that review is required and also said that previous agent sent a reminder to the case officer but he didnt respond. ...both took time to answer so i am guessing i am really screwed with RR....i ordered gcms on monday(29th april) and i just saw on myimmitracker that everbody who had some RR went around 300 days...i m screwed
 
Ok, so 200 days completed.....phheewwww .......Feels like as if I am running a marathon with no finish line o_O


Coming to the point, Called CIC yesterday and luckily the agent was really nice and humble. This time there was pain in my voice. He said that all the stages have passed ( and they passed a month back) but there is no update after that. No blocker in the file. File is at Nova Scotia. He sent a reminder to the office.

any idea if it will be ok for me to drop an email to Nova Scotia office asking for an update and process ahead?

and yes...please add me to the table
AOR 11 Oct. CEC Outland. All stages passed (at least that is what agent told me :))

6 months are over for all the October applicants. If IRCC tries to proceed as many applications as possible in 6 months, for them it doesn't make sense to proceed 6+months applicants ASAP. When you cross the line and you are in "20%", there is no reason for an officer to pick up your case - you don't have a deadline anymore. IMHO.
