Do not follow the IP2 terminology a lot. Too many cases have been going through w/o applicants receiving any update. Your Ghost updates mean that one of eligibility/criminality stage seems to have been crossed. You can call IRCC and check if you want. A ghost update is always a good sign.
Looks interisting. I have nearly the same situation - the first update after MEP (Nov 30) and "we are processing ..." status in BG, and the second ghost update on the 8th of April. If it's true, we may be close to the goal: the next ghost update should be the final one.

Well the agent said "congratulations your application was approved on apr 3rd" then advised me to look out for landing instruction which will be coming from Etobicoke office by email or my online account.
Today, the call volume is extremely high. I tried multiple time and when I reach the option to speak to an agent the operator says we are getting high call volumes and we cannot connect you to an agent.
