My timeline is exactly following yours. Application was approved on 1st April and now waiting for PPR. Some people said it might take 1 month so lets see.

I received Ghost update. Upon calling CIC they informed case is approved and sent to VO Ottawa for final approval.
But yet to receive PPR mail.
Its more than 8 days now.
No idea what is going on.

I have a query regarding passport validity.

I received PPR email which says the passport must be valid for 6months, my passport expires on 18/10/2019 which is valid just about 6months.
Is it ok to submit it for stamping or should I apply for a new one?

How strict are they on validity?

What about your criminality and security status? I guess you would receive your gcms in a couple of days, please share your reason for RR then.

I am in same condition ... when you called CIC ??? I have 8 days left bt no updates yet ... m also thinking to call cic

I have been a silent reader in this forum for a long time. Finally i received my PPR today.


FSW - O India.
Aor - Oct 21
MEP - Nov 21
IP2 - March 26
PPR - April 8

Thanks everyone for showing positivity in this forum.. All the Best for others a d hope you will receive your PPR soon.

Kindly advise the next step of actions. After receiving PPR should we go to vfs office in person or send our passport.

If any group is there which eill provide detail steps kindly share.
