Looks like they screwed up with 2018 apps .. They did not predict the volume of apps compared to previous years and hence they were not prepared to handle it..
Unlike 2019 where they started streamlining the CRS scores and control the volume of apps (trying) .. Also they slowly improved the resources available to handle the process (hence 2019 apps get ppr in 4-7 Months compared to us 2018 waiting for 10months to almost one year)..

The Good News is - they all know - from MP's, Ministers to ircc and they are slowly catching up to clearing 2018 backlogs..

Last week is proof - so yeah - All we can do is wait and watch - Med exp has been a key influencer and target for 2018 apps to be reopened .. So Yeah !!

first of all I would like to thanks all of u , who took out time to share things and those msgs was very helpful in this hard Time .

My timeline is 24th Oct 2018 Nothing changed after Nov.
file was under Review. Which i come to know through notes in Jan.
i applied GCMS notes again which i got in July It showed Eligibility Met . I also got Ghost update in July . My spouse medical got expired in Jun . I got an update in first week of Aug that We will send you a message if medical is required. on 28th Aug i got update in profile without email Notification . on 29th again and status of medical change Medical passed 29th August.

And now i am waiting I called cic and agent said everything pass wait for final result .

I am Inland applicant

you can call ircc to know about extension - if you have not contacted MP's office in the last three months - you can email the office as well
