Hello all,

AOR - October 4th CEC inland,
6 month time over today no PPR,

I did call yesterday, agent was not good as he was mad at me because I called on Monday as well, he was like nothing was Change since Monday, my eligibility under review, background check in process, VO is Ottawa.
Also he mentioned that my file might be go until July.

Anyone October 4 applicants wait for PPR

I phoned CIC this morning and was told my application was approved but it has to be transferred to local visa office to finish the landing process. I also asked the agent if my criminality, eligibility and security have passed. She kept saying my application has been approved and I would have to wait for local visa office to finish the process. Do you guys know how long it will be to receive PPR after everything is done? Thanks!

Happy for those receiving PPRs or Ghost visits.. As per my observation AOR till 20th are being cleared.. (September folks too)

Hope AORs after 20th also gets some updates in coming weeks.. All the best everyone .. specially who are still in IP1 .. anyone after 20th still in IP1..?

i still do not get any updation. my AOR is 17th october ... when will i Get any update ?

Glad to report the Passport Request Email -- Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa.

The Background status change had come along this morning after 5 months of no updates, and the passport request has followed at 2:30 PM Melbourne Time.

I was skeptical about processing of applications where the country of origin differed from country of residence, but I guess that does not delay things.

e-APR: October 3
Meds: November 1
Background checks started: April 5 (April 4 GMT-4)
Passport Request: April 5 (April 4 GMT-4)
NOC: 5123
Country: India (Origin), Australia (Residence)

AOR 20th Oct, IP2 22nd March. No further updates. Still waiting for the PPR mail.

As per trends.. within a week.. or may be today.. don’t worry once you are in IP2 means your file is being examined by the Case officer..

Those who are in IP2.. just chill .. relax and enjoy the HONEYMOON PERIOD.. you are almost there as your file is active..

Those who are in IP1.. don’t worry.. wait.. chances of refusal at this stage are negligible.. until all your submitted docs are genuine.. it’s hard to wait but there is nothing much we can do about it.. but trust me we all will get PPR soon..

Thank you for the positivity. I last called the CIC on Monday and couldn't see much changes.
