Just a question:
The fourth line appeared on my Ecas. I contacted CIC call center. The agent confirmed it is the Fingerprint request.
Should I go to the police station or the RCMP and do it? Or should I wait to receive the letter and take it with me?
Which one process it faster: the police station or the RCMP?

Why don't you simply follow the instructions from the ECAS, and later from the mail that you will receive?

Those instructions are very simple, concise, and easy to follow.

All stamps that are not in English/French need to be translated. If the date on the stamp is in another script, the officer wouldn't know whether it falls inside or outside your eligibility.

My husband took the test on 14th Feb too and he still didn't get the DM. I took my test on the same day and I got my DM two days later. We are from Calgary

Your husband's background checks must be taking longer. They're run separately.

Still did not get answer for my original question.

If they deal with the time very strict, yes I will find a babysitter, and arrive 30 minutes earlier.

If it is not that much, I will arrange to arrive on time, and possibly late few minutes due to whatever reason of delay.

Test was on March 6 in Montreal. Got DM on Saturday March 10th. I wish we can pick up on a pattern. It’s totally random how they work...smh
