Guys I need your contribution here ? The interviewer did not inform me when to expect the oath !!
Just finished the interview : “ Do you have any question?”
Me: no
Finish!
Is that normal?THX
I guess so.
The agent just said we might ask further documents.
Please update the tracker.
Passed the test today (18/20 me) and (20/20 wife) at Scarborough. Joint interview with my wife. The officer found a minor mistake on my "Physical Presence Calculator" and asked me a couple of questions about it. He asked me to make the change manually and then initial it. A couple of other questions about my employment, passports and usual questions like the date of landing, address etc. Test+interview+waiting time before and after the exam was 1.5 hours.
Like
@stalintouch above, the Officer said the date for the Oath will be between now and Oct-2018 (I applied in Oct-2017).
Updated.

In most circumstances the Citizenship Officer does not set the date for the citizenship ceremony at the time of the interview. They will mark your file to indicate you completed and passed the test, and that they've approved or intend to approve your application.
Some of the checks (criminality and security) may not have been completed yet, because those are done by other agencies (RCMP and CSIS, respectively), so your application may not have been ready for approval yet.
Once IRCC has that information, they'll update the status of your application (in ECAS it would then be visible as "Decision Made") and, assuming neither check failed, you'll be scheduled for the next available citizenship ceremony.
You can check the spreadsheet to see what the average wait times are in your location; there can be quite a bit of difference from one office to the next.
Hi guys,
was wondering what is the problem if somebody changes 3 times his job on the last year before the application !

^ I love seeing these types of posts, where one of us finally becomes a Canadian. Congrats! Hope the rest of us can join you soon enough.
Don't worry .I would advise you forward the receipt to CICI had similar issue but after a while a call agent confirmed the local office has received the result. Don't think it is missing, they probably havnt completed their background check and didn't want to make an overstatement.
Thank you so much for the useful information.

I did my FP last January 8 and called them after 2 weeks and they acknowledged that they received my FP.
Can you please advise CIC contact # to call (with further extensions) to get confirmation on FP ?

I DID A BIG MISTAKE-----------------NEED HELP
hello dear friends, i am coming here after long time.
i applied for my citizenship recently, a week back. still not received any intimation from IRCC
but i realised i did a big mistake
i mistakenly omitted to mention a country i went for one week during my eligibility period
i am worried if this will affect my application
and if IRCC considers this as wilful omission
WHAT SHOULD I DO??????????
PLEASE HELP
