Thanks! He did it today at an accredited company. But the RCMP will send him back the results and he then would have to send cic the results. Do you know which address he should send it to? Is it the same one at Sydney, NS?

The fingerprint request letter should have all the necessary contact information for him to send it. I had mind done and they sent the report directly to CIC for me.

They did the same thing to me. I got the updated line on Friday and got an email today. Give it a couple days to see what happens with you? Maybe the same

As you can see line 4 was added on Feb 21st which is last Wednesday but still no emails nor mails.
Whatever short notice for test, I thought they give us at least a month for test preparation

When I applied for citizenship I sent two passport copies, one for current and another for expired. Unfortunately I didn't keep the old one when I received the current one in 2014. What should I do? Is this going to be a problem?

Do you mean you tossed your old passport ? It depends on the officer whether it's going to be a problem or not. I would suggest to try harder to find it.

There is a risk of getting an RQ during the interview if you're missing a passport that covers your eligibility.

I shredded the old one, it's gone. But the current passport is the one I became immigrant with it and has immigration visa inside it.

Does it cover your entire eligibility period (5 years) ? If it only partially covers it, it could be a problem during the interview depending on the officer reviewing your case.

I hope you kept photocopies of all the pages at the very least.

Do you ever get an acknowledgement that they received your fingerprints? I got the request on Feb 6th and got them sent electronically on Feb 7th but I haven’t heard anything...

Nope, there's no acknowledgement for FP requests. You could call and ask 3-4 weeks after submitting the prints.

Alternatively, I believe you could also email RCMP and ask if they sent the result to IRCC yet or not. I believe they reply very quickly.
