Received by CIC on Oct. 16, still waiting for the AOR.
I even doubted that my app was returned but I didn’t know. Is this an email notice when the app was returned?

You can send the transcript from your current degree (I assume you are studying in English or French). You don't need IELTS.

I consulted lawyer he mentioned that degree is not completed so cant use transcripts.

My application was received on 13 of October, still waiting for AOR. I hope we will all get AOR this week.

Yes, I am aware it's not the "end of the world". I was not insinuating that. I was merely stating then that I am in that group of people from that time frame that are still waiting.

My application was delivered on 13 of October, still no AOR. Waiting is not easy but we don’t have other options.I sent Case specific enquiry and got response a week ago, they told me to wait and contact them latter.

I had posted in another thread but would like to update here. So I just checked ECAS (without any AOR yet) and found that my application can be found with only one line (yesterday when I checked it didn't return anything as usual).

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 16, 2017.

At the same time, my wife's application still can not be found. I think it is a good sign (?) since apparently they have opened our applications, however I am only seeing the first line and didn't see my wife's info yet. No AOR for both of us yet. I believe we just have to give it a few more days for the AOR to show up in email inbox and ECAS for both of us?

According to the old instruction guide (from C-24 times), it explicitly mentioned that the degree/diploma needs to have been completed, for one to use it a proof of language proficiency. However, after C-6 was implemented, this wording has been removed from the guide.

Did you receive any email when your application went into in process?

Nope. I checked randomly to see the status. If I got an email I would have known on the 8th or so. I checked now only and then found it went in process.

I got my AOR today. My application was delivered on 19 oct. i did not get any email,my ecas status shows application received.

I think something went wrong in spread sheet my Status updated to "In Process" on 11-12-2017, but in spread sheet it's not showing updated though it has been updated yesterday.

Somebody was messing with the sheets and the Google sheets owner had to revert back to a previous version. Some changes might have been lost.

But post your changes here and somebody who has update access to the sheet will do it for you.

As @razerblade indicated, there there is no way of identifying who the member was in this forum. All we see is a Gmail ID. In any case their access was revoked by the sheet owner and going forward only limited people will have access to edit the sheet.

We weren't able to correlate his email with forum ID unfortunately. But I spammed his email pretty good, with stuff one would pray one never sees in life.
