Saw some people commenting about test/oath being on the same day. Anyone had that happen? Wondering how it works.

it is true. an approach to confirm the showup for ceremony. they have the right to cancel it if anything comes up anytime before the ceremony.

Some applicants live in the suburb-towns of a major city and dont have their(location wise) IRCC office. They were informed before hand when the test invite was sent out - that if they pass the test and the interview they would have the oath ceremony later that day or week.

for example : someone had to travel 300kms or so for the test center. It would not make much sense in asking them to take that trip again in few months..
