I have got a fingerprinting request. Can anyone tell me what is the cheapest option to do fingerprinting in Montreal. It is appearing both Police and RCMP does not do fingerprinting service. Thanks
To those of you who are concerned about whether fingerprints have been received by cic or not, the best you can do is by asking rcmp whether they have sent it or not.
I got mine done through an external agency. Every fingerprint applicant to RCMP gets what is called a DCN number which identifies their application. I called the agency from where i got the fingerprints done and got the dcn number from there.
Call rcmp at 613-998-6362.
Use options 1( for english) and then 3 (immigration). Surprisingly it took just 5-10 minutes on hold both times and then i spoke with a guy there.
Gave him the DCN number, he confirmed by name, d.o.b etc, and then told me that RCMP received the request on Feb 20, 2018 and sent the results on Feb 21, 2018 to the St. Clair office toronto (he read the exact address).
As far as calling CIC, goodluck with that because they automated voice cut my call and said at the moment we cannot take any calls.
Don't worry..my husband and I applied together and took the test on the same day. I got DM two days later but my husband is still IP even a month later. How long has it been since you took the test?

So after five months, still no AOR. Gave CIC a call and they confirmed that they have my application. This whole thing is very frustrating, any recommendations?
