Purolator and FedEx gives better and much faster services than Canada Post Express actually, just my own observation and info from someone who works for CANADA POST! They deliver parcels within highest 48 hrs! So we should all use Purolator or FedEx or DHL from next time instead of Canada Post!

I think I may have mis-understood a question and it is giving me headache. Question 13, which ask about immigration or citizenship status in any other country, including country of birth. I was in the USA on a one year work visa 10 years ago, but I was not a permanent resident or citizen of the US.
I think I should have included that info in answering ques 13, but I didn't. Will it be detrimental? How do I fix this omission? My application was just delivered by Canada post 2 days ago. HELP!!

Hi, effectively you should have included that year work visa in that section.

Other more experts in this forum would be able to give you suggestions. Maybe sending that information as soon as you get the AOR.

How long will it take that CIC email you when they received your application package? UPS showed that my package was delivered on Oct. 20, but nobody signed it though I paid signature required delivery. Annoying UPS, paid double money, but poor service.

You can check the spreadsheet so you can have an idea. Previous months the AOR has arrived after 4-6 weeks but also previous months the average of applications (on the spreadsheet) was around 70 and this month there are already 263 and the month hasn't finished yet.

PS: If they didn't give you signature from UPS maybe you can make a claim and get a refund.
