You can check your application status (e-cas) online on CIC site on the below link to find out In-Process date

You will see 4 lines on e-cas, with third line stating 'We started processing your application on XXXXX'. It is advisable to check your status online, so as to keep eye on updates. Sometimes, emails and mails fail to reach you.

Are you checking your status with 8 digit client id (UCI). You need to mention your last name,DOB, and country of birth correctly.

I and my 2 kids got our AOR on January 10 in the space of 30 minutes but my wife didn't receive hers. Though the next morning we all can see our status on ECAS. If I had known we would have all used same email address like I did for my kids. Is there any cause for worry?

IRCC officers are working very hard and it seems it is an innocent mistake.

This is not a mistake. It happens some cases. If u pass the test u join the oath ceremony and if not u dont need to attend ceremony

I just got an update on my ECAS: "We sent you a notice on January 11, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 21, 2018"

am I sleeping or Toronto has finally started moving towards test invites?

I am patient and all but it seems to me that since Toronto is the most populated city, should they not have more agents and more motivation to move quickly?

I just got update

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 23, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 13, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on January 11, 2018.

Please update spread sheet with "Single" Application from Toronto.
