I call cic and they say they don’t know because it’s a letter thru the mail close envelope

Is that right..!!! try calling again and see if you get somebody else who can probe/provide more inftherwise you just have to patiently wait for the letter. sorry.

Nothing specific, just that they needed my fingerprints done. Told me what I would need to bring and gave me the web address to look up whom to contact to have my prints done.

Nope, getting test invite doesn't mean that. In fact, if the interviewer is dissatisfied with your physical presence claim, you could get an RQ on the spot or even after the test. They go through all the stamps in your passports. Also, some people reported getting fingerprint requests after the test. Till you take the oath, nothing is confirmed.

Some applicants being processed at the Scarborough CPC had their oaths cancelled last minute, and applications went back into process. Some background checks were re-done.
