2nd GUs and PPRs have slowed down a bit it seems. Might be due to the Ukraine situation and new apps coming from those.

No, The first GU is right after bil for the updation of your biometrics the second one is for eligibility pass current timeline is 1 to 1.5 month
The third one is for security pass and a hint for ppr receiving soon current timeline for 2nd GU to 3rd GU is 20-25 days
And after that maybe on same day ppr or max to Max two weeks

The one you get after MEP/BIL isn't a ghost update, it is a normal update. Ghost update is when it says your profile is updated but there really isn't anything updated when you look inside your profile. So the "1st GU" is the one you get 4-6 weeks after MEP/BIL. You get the second GU 1-3 weeks after 1st GU.

For post July 2021 PNP-O AORs at CIO, the average seems to be 1st GU (eligibility passed) 5-6 weeks after MEP and 2nd GU (security passed) 2-3 weeks after 1st GU. 60-65 days from MEP to PPR.

Medical Passed 30th December 2021/ same day for BIL
Biometrics done on January 4th 2022 (till now, it still shows we have not received biometrics but I know it was sent already and no issues)
1st GU February 14th 2022...
