Today being a Thursday don't pin your hopes much for getting it this week. It will be a good surprise if you get it in a day or two this week.

Hi - my date of acknowledgement was 19th Oct ..I'd check periodically. I saw an update when I checked on 10th Nov. So you should see some changes shortly as well.
I did not submit surrender and OCI applications together. Since I had the citizenship certificate, I went to BLS and surrendered Indian passport first and submitted a written declaration that I'll be applying for Canadian passport. At the time of surrender, they did take a look at my COPR and took a copy but returned original. When I went again to submit OCI application, they took original COPR which was returned by Purolator a few days later. Good luck
Here's my OCI timeline. Similar to the experience of others, BLS staff told me 3 months, the website states 5-6 weeks. Most people have gotten it in 4 weeks.

We applied OCI for our baby on 26th oct. they took cancelled passport of both parents at the same time and said we will receive with oci booklet. How did you receive acknowledgment? My tracking information says processing at consulate general.
Hi, I will be applying for oci and passport cancellation for me, my wife and 2 sons. Want to know how much courier charges do I need to pay if I go for pick up and drop-off service? Will all the applications for 4 of us be clubbed together (should be the case) for courier or do they charge separately for each application? Thanks
