Today, saw an update of our OCI cards being dispatched from New Delhi ie 05/05/2015

How long does it take for the 3rd date to get updated from the 2nd?

Finally got to see the 3rd date now. Check out yours too.. and for me 3rd date took 7 days from dispatch date.

Now could you please let us know how many days does BLS take after submission ?

And also, what else has to be taken while going to BLS apart from below list?
1) Canadian Passport
2) Printout of the online status showing 3 dates
3) Acknowledgement slips

7 days for the rd date looks positive. I hope to receive stamping request by this week then

From what i was being told at the BLS

1) Passport original
2) Passport sticker. When you applied OCI they affix a sticker on your passport. make sure you haven't removed it
3) Acknowledgment letter from consulate
4) Receipt from BLS (may be you don't need)
5) Photo copy of passport
6) Print out showing all 3 dates

Always take more to BLS as you know these guys always ask for something new ..

Around 2 months with 1-2 weeks plus or minus.

Surrender Certificate Application Submitted on 02-Mar-2015
OCI Application Submitted on 11-Mar-2015
Online Status with 3 dates appeared on 11-May-2015

Another 1 week time from the date of my passport submission to received with sticker & OCI booklet.

So, if everything goes smooth(Surrender & OCI) you can anticipate the whole process would take 2 to 2 1/2 months.

I have gotten all 3 dates updated for OCI sticker and I submitted the passport for sticker this morning to BLS.
All BLS requested was passport and OCI acknowledgement receipt.

Hopefully should be receiving passport in a week's time..

Yes they asked me to track the initial OCI application tracking number that BLS has given (not one from consulate) in BLS website. Currently it shows I have submitted passport for OCI stamp.
Also i requested for pick up as BLS is a block from my work. But if you have paid for courier i believe you will get in courier.

Don't worry you should get it sooner.There is no holiday's coming up before may 18 so you should be hearing soon

Yes, I hope to get this week or early next week. Do they send email or call to send passport after 3rd date?

Neither. You have to look at all 3 dates filled and you have to submit all by yourself.
I never got a call or email
