I submitted my oci application in ottawa on 31st july and acknowledgment date is 2nd august. It is still showing under process

does anyone know how long it takes in ottawa

Following you, i have read 7-8 weeks in this group. Hopefully we can have more people provide this status here from Ottawa.
Mine is Aug 16th Acknowledgement and under process.

Thanks. . This is exactly where confusion started. His 10 month old video asks to fill Citizenship Cert number is National ID. Now he asks to fill Passport number. Also one of my friend called BLS and they asked to fill Citizenship Cert number while everyone else asks to fill passsport number as National ID. What did you guys actually fill this field with ?

I think in his new video he has clarified that use passport number and I think it's correct based on friends application that was successfully processed recently

Yeah BLS offices are open on Saturday not sure if the call centers are as well. Just call them

No change in status(still showing processing in consulate) I walked in to BLS (hoping to hear that ‘your OcI is here. Couldn’t update the status because of system issues!!). They too don’t have additional information than what I see in bls tracking. They advised me to send an email to OcI officer in CGI Vancouver.

I applied for my OCI from ottawa BLS
got acknowledgement on 23 July. And document was printed today on 6 September. It's not dispatched yet.

Do you see any further updates ? please share your latest. No updates on mine yet.

The consulate in Vancouver is useless. They received my OCI application on 24-July and the status still shows 'Under Processing'. Even getting the surrender certificate was slow. Don't know why that is compared to Toronto. I would think there are more applications in Toronto than Vancouver. You think they would stick to the timelines.
