These are “value added services” or optional costs, BLS will claim they never forced anyone to accept these charges

I applied via post (Vancouver) and since the 6th of Feb (date of acknowledgment), it has been under process. Is it normal to take this long to process OCI?

once you receive under process, it usually takes 5-6 weeks for OCI to reach you.

Try to book an appointment in other category.

I took the appointment for Visa at Toronto location, since OCI slots were not available.

Guard asked me about my passport at the entrance and I was allowed inside. Once you are inside, you are good.

Otherwise, people go as early as 5 am for walkin. Since they entertain about 20 people for walkin.

Please dont book appointment in another category. They started seeing through this scheme and are giving tokens based on category. This is also unfair to other applicants.
