Walk in OCI application with acknowledgement date of Nov 18. Seems like Vancouver is a lot slower than other cities. I gave up on waiting and applied for e-visa and it was granted in less than 24 hours.

Hi all

Applying OCI for our newborn. Currently waiting for the passport and collecting all required documents for OCI

I saw on the website that NOC by parents is required for minors. Which form do we need to fill it? AnnexureC or AnnexureD?
also, someone mentioned in this forum that both parents need to provide photographs. is that true? if yes how many do we need to provide and need one of it have stamped? I do not see anywhere mention of parents' photographs on the website.

Please help!

I applied on Oct.28 for 3 applicants (Husband, myself and my daughter). Ack date is Nov.09. I think I won’t see anything change until first to second week of January.

OCI Website Under Process: 12.DEC.23

I'm no expert, but as per most recent stats, my wild guess is that it's unlikely. I hope that I'm wrong.

With slowdown and holiday it may just be around your trip dates or a bit later. Better be prepared with backup i.e. e-visa during that week of your travel.

OCI acknowledgement:: 24th Nov
OCI processed:: 20 Dec
OCI collected:: 22 Dec

Hi, Does anyone know how long are the walk-in wait times for OCI application submission at Brampton BLS center? There are no appointments available until Feb and there's no guarantee on when they will open the appointments.
Any help/insight will be appreciated.
