That was a misinformation. Vancouver taking more than a month after acknowledgement not 3 weeks.

is this for sure? The BLS checklist https://www.blsindia-canada.com/tor...list_Information_Booklet_for_OCI_2jun22NN.pdf mentions (Original and Copy) for passport.

On the information page https://www.blsindia-canada.com/toronto-jurisdiction/oci-fresh.php -
"The Original documents will be returned back to walk-in applicants, after verification on counter. The applicants submitting original documents through courier, may collect the original documents from BLS Office once tracking status of OCI shows 'Original ready for collection'. Those who have opted & paid for sending back original documents through courier, their original documents will be dispatched through paid courier."
Can anyone confirm if this is a valid service?
How do i pay for the courier and when do i expect originals to return?

my parents both had ack dates of sept 28. One was processed on Oct 31, one is still processing. Is this normal? (Vancouver )

You do not need to send the original with OCI application in Postal application. You can just put self attested copies. ALso call BLS to book for postal service they will charge you $62 for it as you only need 1 pickup and 1 drop off. On website they will book you 1 pickup and 2 drop off (1 for original and 1 for OCI)

hello fellow Edmontonian. I applied same day for family of 3. Sept 25th walk in and ack was Oct 04. Please see tracker here. As per this, we need to wait atleast 30 days from time of Ack. So hopefully we will know tomorrow or next week. And then I will say around 1week to 10 days after it says "Processed". When is your travel date ?

Ok i just saw this- your flight is on Nov 15. Can @eas2lv please comment on how nitesh001 can collect in person ? I am not fully sure about that. Only option maybe t wait till it reaches BLS Edmonton office ? Unfortunately for people in Edmonton and Calgary its a bit longer since we cant really go to Vancouver and collect it, unless we decide to take a flight :(

Hello Group is there any update on Entry Visa Application-Toronto?
My application status on VISA Website is still showing-Under Processing
Tentatively how much time will take to get the Visa with Original passport
We will have flight on Nov 17, 2023
