Did anyone who submitted an OCI application to BLS Brampton through a post on 27th September receive acknowledgement?

I am still waiting for an acknowledgement. Tracking on the BLS website says 'Processing at consulate general'. Tracking on ociservices.gov.in says 'No such record found'. Is anyone in the same situation?

Asking as my flight is on 28th October which I know I will have to postpone but I am unsure to which date I should postpone. I was thinking of November end but now even Nov end seems dicey.

I tried looking up through the ARN below and Canadian passport number, as visible on https://www.blsindia-canada.com/toronto-jurisdiction/track-application.php on https://ociservices.gov.in/statusEnqury. But no records found

@mechingineer Noticed that you also earlier posted an application date of Oct 06 though mailed-in on Sep 27. You could get Ack by Oct 23 or 24.

Looks like that is Canadian response to India's bullying yesterday. Exrecise your judgement.
Edit: no change from Jan 26 version -- mis-representation by Indian media as usual

There is no email -- you have to check the OCI status site.

Hi Everyone, i submitted passport for surrender earlier today and was trying to book a BLS appointment for OCI late november. Firstly is it fair to assume the surrender certificate will arrive in a month? Secondly, no appointments are available under OCI field until end of November, but there are few under passport. Can I book under passport? Has anyone else done this?

All entries in the tracker sheet without "postal" in the comment are walk-in. Including mine.
